Hack for YHack Using the 1&1 Cloud Server

YHack, an international hackathon hosted by and held at Yale University on November 11-13 will feature around 1.000 students, hackers and creatives from all over the world as they compete to present their big idea.

In addition to a jam-packed 36 hours of talks, food, and entertainment throughout the night, 1&1 will provide students with a hacking project based on infrastructure from our 1&1 Cloud Server. The students are called to do something cool with the 1&1 Cloud Server API. 1&1 will present the project in a quick 30-second pitch before kicking off the hackathon, and participants will receive a link at the start of the event with information on contest criteria. The team with the best solution for our project will be presented with a 1&1 prize pack.

Following the hackathon, 1&1’s Javier Arnáez de Pedro, Product Owner Cloud and Server, will hold a talk about our 1&1 Cloud Server and the tools a customer can use to manage it.
