PHP 5.6.0 Full Version Now Available!


Earlier this year, developers could try out the latest version of the PHP scripting language, PHP 5.6, as a beta version. Now PHP 5.6 is available as the full version, promising enhanced performance alongside a wide range of additional features.

In addition to some important bug fixes, this latest major release of PHP includes an update for the PHP debugger phpdbg, with an interactive, integrated SAPI module. In terms of security, PHP 5.6 provides hash_equals () and enhanced use of SSL/TLS, plus improvements to the gost-crypto hash algorithm. This new version also offers simplification of the ‘password hashing API’, as well as new generators and coroutines.
