Why and How You Should Syndicate Your Blog Content

One way to raise your blog’s profile is through syndicating your content to other platforms and sites. It enables you to share your posts with a wider audience, hopefully leading to more direct visits to your own site. From selling more products to simply growing your blog’s readership, syndication can boost your results for almost any goal.

When it comes to syndication, you have the choice of syndicating all of just a snippet of your content. If you’re trying to promote a product or idea, then syndicating an entire article makes sense. This option gives you a strong Call-to-Action and lures people back to your site after they read it. However, if you’re promoting your blog, then providing people with a means of reading the entire article elsewhere could be self-defeating. In this scenario, it’s far better to provide a small preview. This can be as short as a headline, but you’ll likely find more success with a headline and snippet of the main text to draw people in. If your intro hooks them, they’ll need to click and head over to your site to read the rest.
